Please join BAPG for a virtual presentation entitled:
"Practical Applications to Manage Liabilities Associated with Community Soil Remediation Projects.”
Rick Watt, P.G. will discuss planning, management, and liability issues surrounding implementation of remedial actions at private properties associated with off-site cleanups. He has over 25 years’ experience managing projects and is currently responsible for two, multiyear, State Superfund, community soil remediation projects with a current total engineering budget of over $17.5M. The presentation will focus primarily on one site, remedial design and construction at the Former Geneva Foundry in Geneva, NY, but examples will be discussed from both sites. While not a case study, the presentation will include information about the site to provide context for the discussion and we will focus on the many steps involved to complete these projects with a focus on dealing with stakeholders and liabilities.
Rick has over 30 years' experience as an environmental consultant, primarily in the areas of remedial investigation, design, and construction at Superfund and other impaired sites. He holds a B.S. degree in geological sciences from Cornell University and is a licensed professional geologist in New York and Pennsylvania.
The presentation is free, but registration is required to obtain the link.
