BAPG will be joining the Nature Sanctuary Society of WNY for a geology hike in the South Branch gorge of Cattaraugus Creek in Zoar Valley. Local geologist Dr. Ray Vaughan will lead the hike on Saturday September 17th from 10 AM to 2 PM. The hike through the deep bedrock gorge has no road access and needs DEC permission, so this is a great chance to see the area and learn. The hike is free, but registration is recommended to access directions, parking instructions, guide materials and PDH credit information.
