Geology Night
The New York State Council of Professional Geologists is holding its annual business meeting and second annual "Geology Days" conference November 13 - 15 in Saratoga Springs NY. BAPG is following up by hosting "Geology Night" on November 16.
This month, in addition to our annual meeting, we be featuring a series of short talks by student researchers from both the University at Buffalo and SUNY Fredonia, as well as short presentations by Professional Geologists on our Board of Directors who will introduce attendees to the wide range of geology projects they are involved in across Western New York and beyond. Whether you are a student preparing to enter the workforce in the next few years, a working geologist who needs some help from some new geologists or just interested in finding out about the myriad types of projects we all work at every day, we hope you will be able to join us!
Given the nature of this event, PDH credits will not be available at Geology Night, however, BAPG will be working with NYSCPG to make selected content from the Geology Days conference available in an online format soon, so stay tuned for credits later this year!
