On May 15, 2024, join us down in Black Rock for our last monthly meeting before the summer. Our presentation this month will be “Surface Water Sheen Solution: A Collaborative Effort to Implement a Dense Nonaqueous Phase Liquids Interim Remedial Measure for Lower Scajaquada Creek”. The presentation will provide a comprehensive overview of the investigations carried out to identify the origins of petroleum-like sheens observed in Scajaquada Creek. Notably, this collaborative effort was undertaken under a private-public partnership by GEI Consultants, Inc. and the NYSDEC. Rick Frappa and Frank Clougherty from GEI will be joined by Stan Radon of the NYSDEC to round out the presentation. Please register quickly as we will be space limited and we expect to be sold out!
