ABSTRACT

Good news is that solutions to difficult remediation problems shouldn’t have any political boundaries. Better news is that innovative soil & groundwater technology solutions can be transferred globally after language/communication issues, local regulatory, and infrastructure support problems are solved. A “real world” lessons-learned approach will be incorporated into the technical presentation on the remediation of recalcitrant contaminants of concern including: polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and viscous polynuclear aromatics (PNAs).
